As the Founder of the Grooming Greatness Foundation, Monique is committed to educating, enriching, and empowering youth in underserved communities. Her foundation exposes young people to the visual and performing arts, fostering creativity, confidence, and entrepreneurial skills.

Monique also serves as the Executive Director of the Brooklyn Collective, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to preserving the rich history and culture of Charlotte's historic Brooklyn neighborhood while providing resources and opportunities to the local community. Her leadership extends to serving on the Board of Directors for the Brooklyn Collective, where she plays an instrumental role in revitalizing and celebrating this important cultural hub.

In addition to her community work, Monique is a sought-after public speaker and author of five books, including her latest, Unclogged: Targeting the Top 10 Mindset Cloggers to Business Success. She is also launching a new merchandise line that ties into the themes of her book, encouraging individuals to get "unclogged" and find clarity in their personal and professional lives.

Monique’s dedication to living a "rich" life goes beyond material wealth—it’s about cultivating meaningful relationships, building communities, and developing a positive mindset. Residing in Charlotte with her husband, they enjoy sharing their lives with their nine children and six grandchildren, all while working to uplift and inspire the next generation of leaders.
